I never know whether to say I'm a journalist, writer, editor, copywriter or reporter... let's go for any and all of those? Also a media development specialist and SEO consultant, if that's your kind of thing.

My particular passion is for content relating to Russia and Eastern Europe (my BA was partly in Russian, and I have worked in Russia and Ukraine), but I can get enthusiastic about more or less any worthwhile story. Most recently, my work has taken in news (particularly the war in Ukraine), investigations, arts, culture and travel, but I also write for charities and commercial organisations.
